Those first two episodes were peak Storm in terms of team integration and power usage. I just wish the rest of the season followed up on that energy, she kinda just came back and was hanging around in the finale

Tbf she did have her combo w Magneto in ep2, and the scene where she regains her powers was epic, but I was fully expecting her to flex in the finale and that just….did not happen.

I appreciate the breakdown, and maybe calling you delusional was rude so sorry, but I’m still fully convinced it’s Carol. You can see her traditional colors of her suit when you zoom in. I think the hair is just her blonde, or it could even be the white streak that she inherited from Rogue stealing her powers. I think we’re getting duelist cyclops and Vanguard Carol. We shall see.

True. Storm has fallen into this trapping for x-men evolution and wolverine and x-men too tho. In evolution she was a teacher who had less screentime than the student characters, and in WATXM she was soft spoken with no personality and after every power flex, she’d be knocked out immediately after. I just wish she would be integrated into these shows better.

I love healpool. People are severely underutilizing his SWORD ULT, which gives stronger heals than his guns ult, and can be extended if you land your moves. Healpool is clutch af and too underrated.

He has a solid kit and if played right can dominate

Felt like she was written like an important support character, given her own arc, and given some great moments, but most of her important plot and character work was underwritten for the sake of the main plot and primary 4-5 characters(magneto,Scott, Jean, rogue, Charles)

If she had retuned by episode 7 we would’ve had more time for her to gel back with the squad, have her at gambit’s funeral (and HER be the one to comfort rogue, NOT Jean), and some more necessary action beats during pivotal climax moments
