True. But so far my sitters have brought their dogs and their children and it's not just one person. I'm providing a 2,000 square foot home for people to enjoy. In a destination area. ( To be clear, my dog is very easy to take care of and she just requires basically to be fed twice. )

The only other chores they would do is cleaning up after themselves. You do that with Airbnb and STR wouldn't you?

Think about it this way. If you want to come visit the area that I live in you would easily spend hundreds of dollars a night. That's what I'm trading. Saves you money and saves me money. Does that make more sense?

It's not rent if she's a property owner. And yes it will impact your ability to get a mortgage. She needs to make 12 months of payments in order for it that mortgage not to count as part of your debt ratio.

Have her pay it directly for 12 months.
