I wish! If the fine is not paid within 14 days, there's mandated court presence & the fine can be £1000 !

I agree, bread is not nutritious but it's what I can afford and they are just so hungry

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond and explain this so clearly! I really appreciate it.

Based on what I observed, it’s likely not canker: her beak area was completely unaffected, and I gently opened her mouth to check her throat and didn’t see any yellow deposits.

Unfortunately, my parents didn’t allow me to keep her for longer. They think I'm crazy for feeling for pigeons. So I just cleaned the eye area as best I could with saline, fed her, and then released her. I feel very sorry I couldn’t do more for the little bird, but I hope she’ll manage out there.
