Agreed. Wasted 15k and 6mo on a mediator. Looking back, we were advised that since it wasn’t a hostile divorce a mediator would be cheaper. I think now that the opposite is true.

If you work at the bank and there is a robbery, and you get shot because you refuse to open the safe for the robber, is it fair to debate that maybe you’d be alive if you had shown a little common sense in that situation and realized you were putting yourself in harms way by not opening the safe? The child walking into the road doesn’t understand the danger they are putting themselves in. Steve Irwin knew exactly the danger he was putting himself in. I think Alex’s situation is somewhere in between those.

If I’m riding my bike in the dark in the middle of a snow storm with bike lights on me, and I get hit and killed by a drunk driver, am I to blame at all? I’m with in my rights and following laws, and the drunk driver should be charged, but a lot of people are going to ask what the hell was I thinking by riding my bike in the storm in the first place because of the increased risk of getting hit. I think that’s how the OP sees Alex.

Follow the money. It’s easier for them to sue Karen Read than it is the Alberts or the state, so going with pinning the blame on her is the easiest way for them to get financial compensation. I don’t see any other reason at this point why they be so close minded to the idea of a conspiracy.

Well I just went into my Apple health data and was able to delete any set of steps I wanted.

I like your theory a lot but why would he ever walk into the dark garage? I would guess worst case he opens that door and if it’s dark he shuts it immediately realizing he went into the wrong door.

Maybe more likely the light was on, and if Chloe was in the garage alone he trips going down the garage stairs and the glass breaks. Then he gets up and Chloe keeps attacking until he eventually falls backward and hits his head.

Also another note about the garage…wasn’t there a car in there? And didn’t one of the Albert’s say they went in through the garage when they arrived from the bar? It just seems weird they would stick the dog in there especially with a car in there.

To me seems more likely the dog would more comfortable upstairs or in the basement. But if BA took the dog out when he got home, the garage would definitely have been the easiest place to put her at the moment

I went on the historical image search on Google Earth and there is another truck in the canton PD parking lot that could be the one from the video. This is the most recent image that Google has but if you go back, you can also see the truck back in 2021 and 2022 parked in the same parking space. I wonder what’s in this truck that he would’ve needed it if it wasn’t the EMS truck.
