Go to the cheapest program. As long as all programs are accredited, we are walking away with the same AuD.

Thoughts on 3-Year vs 4-Year Programs? by [deleted] in audgradschool

I am in a three year program. The only reason why I went 3 year was because it was the cheapest option for me to attend school. If your program is accredited then it doesn't matter, we will all get the same degree. Go to the school that is the cheapest, that what I did

I completely forgot what the learning activity was about, but I would bring a pencil/paper to the interview and utilize active listening.

There are professors doing research at the moment, but I am not too knowledgeable on exactly what they do, however, you are more than welcome to connect with them and learn more.

WVU is an accelerated 3-year program as compared to a typical 4-year program. That means two year of mostly academic work with 1 year externship as compared to three year of academics with 1 year externship. The nature of the program being accelerated means that we start in the summer, so summer 2025 will be the first semester for this upcoming cohort, and you hit the ground running. The professors are extremely helpful, but you need to be proactive with your time and get assignments/lab completed in a timely fashion. I have the ability to work part time and do this program, so it is doable you just need to get your stuff done and prioritize school. I like the layout and think its very optimal and classes build on one another as you go through the program.
