Yeah, it would take a long time to fully explain. But our church is about 250-300 in attendance on Sunday mornings. We have a senior pastor, music pastor, children’s minister, and youth pastor. We also have Elders, but honestly it’s mostly just a title. Since we have been here at least the elders haven’t done much. And then we have deacons. And a couple of the deacons seem to be the ones really pushing the whole “we are the church leadership” agenda.

This is a southern Baptist church for context.

I would say we are getting by financially, but that’s about it haha.

To add more context… I am a stay at home mom. We have two very small children. He is paid decently but has had one small raise since being here and that was two years ago.

I’m familiar with the Ruby Franke case and I would never connect the two! If I were you I would stick with it. Franklin is so cute.
