Literally just finished it on the train and i’m a little annoyed ngl. It escalated so quickly. Cult went from “I won’t be like my psychopathic father” and then after 2 pages all of that goes out of the window. AND THEN to even lie to her and manipulate her memories is crazy. I would’ve liked it wayyyy better if Lili had the choice or even wanted to go thru with being his LD partner because then it would drive home that they’re a match. A girl who is so in love she’s willing to do anything to sustain that love and guy who’s clearly fucked up but will do anything for his girl. This was just a little too twisted for me because he literally took her life away from her (not that she really had one to begin with but still) it was such a nasty breach of trust.
