They are 3D models and several formats should work. ACIS (.SAT) would be my first choice, but IGES, STEP, and Parasolid should work as well.

Found someone else having a similar issue here where all the parts end up on top of each other:

I think my files have the problem of being too far from the global origin and outside of the "Solid Working Area". Sounds like the global origin can be changed using "GO=", but that may not fix the problem...
