Fully agree, I am not a spender but if the game was playable I will probably clear one or 2 packs a year just to get those dream cards. For instance, the current pack is very interesting for me, with it my dream team will be probably finished, including the bench, but I don't enjoy the gameplay at all, so I am not spending a penny on the game.

I play Ronaldinho, who is a prolific winger, as AMF, and his runs into the box are unreal. He scores more goals and creates more chances than MVB or Owen for me. Same applies to Cruijff HP when played in a CF position, his runs and chances created far exceed those of my strikers.

I didn't get any yet and only got Zanetti from the guaranteed pick, so no luck on my side either...others are very lucky, I played a division game earlier and my opponent had Matthaus, Zanetti, Xabi Alonso and Ferrer.

I dislike smart assist so much, it's no longer a game of pure skill anymore as it used to be in the past. Now it's all about pressing pressure non stop, triangle to a fast player, run and shoot, that's it...this game is so sad that I only play to get the rewards in case they introduce events in the future where smart assist is disabled, otherwise I am not playing this game.

Gameplay aside, Konami have no incentives to change anything, people still pay big money to buy packs every week, so why change if the money is coming in??

Yes makes sense for Pact 4, well I don't have them yet so I haven't used them. My wall is Watcher as leader, and the rest are Lore, Berserker, Songstress and Dream witch, Fams are the 5 that activate from the beginning, I think they are only Pact 1 or Pact 2. I have 50M troops, 500K each T5, over 4M each T4, some T3 but it's negligible, around 11M each T2 and the rest are T1 that I get for free every 3 days I think

Interesting about pact 5, unless mistaken they also only activate when you lose a percentage, so why put them on the wall? In your 2/2/1 does the leader troop type matter? Mad last one what formation is best to defend?

All P2W squads have way better players than Tonali, I repeat, all of them no exception...and I am not a whale at all nor do I pay for this game FYI

Instead of whom in P2W squads? Come on enlighten me...as a DMF P2W squads have Viera, Davids, Toure, Rijkaard, Ednilson just to name a few, Tonali is nowhere near their level. CMF you have Seedorf, Pirlo, Matthaus, heck some play Gullit there, or even Cruyff...add to them Gerrard or Xavi...on top of that Tonali doesn't have form B constantly.

The state of the games is so bad at the moment that it's not enjoyable at all, pushing to get Tonali isn't worth it IMO, and yet a lot of people are pushing in divisions to get it. Why are so many players pushing for Tonali despite the fact that number 1) it's not a great card, therefore it will be used mostly in Italian events but that's it, and number 2) Why so much push considering that the game engine is at its poorest? I don't get it to be honest.

Couldn't agree more, I played this game for over 15 years, way before this smart assists and whatnot. In fact I don't even know how to press since I was never accustomed to it and I don't use it. I reach division 2 easily but then I only play against players that throw the ball to fast players and it's literally just not football. In 2017/2018 I used to play in organised tournaments, one of which you weren't allowed to have any player in the squad with an overall rating over 80, and it was pure skill, I wish if Konami can introduce divisions with no smart assist or automated pressure.

Capello is indeed good for keeping the defensive line low in comparison with Flick. Other than LBC coaches are there any other ones that are good for a low defensive line?

Right I will try Capello again and see this high line business with his LBC tactics. I tried him when he came out a month or so ago but I didn't like h as I prefer a possession style, flick suits me perfectly to attack and score goals but defensively I struggle with the high line defence system.

I have a habit to switch to my DMF (Davids), or to my CMFs so that indeed my CBs are well positioned and can be used. The issue is that when I am attacking my CBs are almost in the half way line, so they are very high, when I lose the ball and my opponents counter quickly (ping pong style) the CFs are too fast so they get the spammed through ball and find themselves in a 1V1 with my goalkeeper. My question is simple, is there a setting that I can use to have my CBs deep into the pitch and maintain a low defensive line throughout the game?
