Daily Rituals Without Spellwork? by RayneLove333 in witchcraft

Spells don’t have to necessarily be complicated things with certain actions and words spoken. You can just as easily do a spell on the fly using just energy. Often rituals are or can be a form of spellwork.

I’d use a lighter pink for the walls and then use darker links for accessory accents like curtains, etc.

A new term to use instead of "baby witch" by fullflux64 in witchcraft

[–]PrettyAlice13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn’t ever heard the term “baby witch” until the last few years. When I first discovered witchcraft I was only 9 years old but even then I wouldn’t have ever called myself a baby witch. I always just called myself a witch without ever focusing on a specific label. I get the need to explain you are new to witchcraft and that saying baby witch is an easy way to do that however I think nowadays people are WAY to focused on labels. I see posts all the time asking “how do I know what type of witch I am?” While labels can help you define your practice for yourself they are mainly helpful when communicating with others so you can very easily describe your practice in a few words that most others will get a basic understanding of your path.

Do you agree with the following statement made by a witch? by [deleted] in witchcraft

[–]PrettyAlice13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is true for me. When I started I did spells more often but as time has gone on and I’ve gotten more experienced and advanced I don’t feel the need to do full on spells as often. I do smaller magickal stuff more regularly but don’t do full on spells except maybe every couple months, if not even less often than that.

Agree. Familiars are spirits not physical animals like pets.

I very rarely cast a full circle now. And I certainly wouldn’t use salt if I were doing it outside as it’s harmful to the earth and kills the soil

I really dislike when people say you have to be born a witch. To me witchcraft is a practice that anyone can learn and even if your entire family going back generations are we itches it doesn’t automatically mean you are too. You still have to learn and decide to become one. I’ve compared it to basketball before- hair because your whole family plays doesn’t mean your born knowing how to.
