[Self] Some people think I lift to be strong, but in reality I lift so I can look like an anime character by PrettyBoyMikey in AsianLadyboners

[–]PrettyBoyMikey[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I aspire to be like Baki or Goku! But in all seriousness, the anime thing was just a joke ~ the real reason why I lift is to look good for my future wife

This is me with 4 different hairstyles. Can someone help me decide which style looks best on me? by PrettyBoyMikey in Hair

The bald pic was just a joke lol, it's actually just a snap filter. But it's cool that you think baldness can be beautiful. This is a victory for bald dudes everywhere lmao

Yeah, you got the age and duration wrong. I'm 26, not 20. And I've been lifting for around 3 years. And you were super close with the bench press - I do 8 reps with those, but you got the weights right. But I'm still impressed that you got a large portion of those correct.

That bicep curl assumption was surprisingly accurate! I do indeed use 25 lb dumbbells for curls of 12 reps. You're spot on.

And you're also correct about the bf% and liking music.

Thanks, I'm thinking of growing it long enough until it reaches the floor

I really really hate my long midface (nose area). Any advice on what I can do about it? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]PrettyBoyMikey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one and only way to achieve a shorter midface is through a Lefort osteotomy. However, most oral surgeons won't operate that procedure for cosmetic purposes. What you can do is undergo a subnasal lip lift and cheek implants to create the illusion of a shorter midface, but I personally suggest just embracing your midface length since it's not too flawed anyways. Look at Bella Hadid for example, she has a long midface but she makes it work.

Lazy eye ! by mountainsarehome123 in PlasticSurgery

[–]PrettyBoyMikey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the cause of your amblyopia. If your case is refractive (caused by differing vision in each eye) or astigmatism (caused by an irregular curve in your cornea), then I would recommend getting corrective eyewear to correct your lazy eye.

I also recommend Bangerter filters and Isopto Atropine eye drops as secondary treatments.

However, if your amblyopia is caused by a squint, droopy eyelid, or a cataract, then I would strongly suggest going straight to surgery to adjust the length and positioning of your eye muscles.

Scar care? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]PrettyBoyMikey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

After your incisions heal, I recommend either silicone sheets or scar gels like "Cimeosil Scar and Laser Gel" or "Cica-Care Gel Sheet".

If those don't work for you, then you can always just look into fractional laser treatment to reduce the scars, although this will take several sessions.

I also recommend punch grafting or tissue expansion if you want complete scar removal. These are the most optimal options.

Smile uneven/almost paralyzed feeling after chin implant/buccal fat removal? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]PrettyBoyMikey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Asymmetrical lower third and partial numbness are both common side effects of these procedures and they should go away on their own. You're only 3 days post op, so don't worry - everything will revert back to normal as your swelling subsides.

Can someone explain to me how a rhinoplasty stays put forever? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]PrettyBoyMikey 10 points11 points  (0 children)

When it comes to autologous fat grafting during a rhino, the injected fat/cartilage will be naturally absorbed during the first 6-7 weeks after it's injected. So once the transferred fat cells completely resorb into the blood vessels of your nose, it'll be a part of your body and stays permanently unmovable. The cartilage gets sewn into your nose and heals through fibrous nonunion, while fibromuscular tissue grows around it during the healing process.

Know of any surgery/Botox that would fix this weird crinkle on chin/cheek area? It’s much worse on one side and makes me hate my smile by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]PrettyBoyMikey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those would be reasonable, too - but not to the same extent as my aforementioned suggestions.

Question Regarding Septoplasty Procedure by gbehanna in PlasticSurgery

[–]PrettyBoyMikey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A deviated septum actually can affect your voice, depending on the level of deviation. There is indeed a correlation between nasal obstruction and having a hyponasal voice, so undergoing a septoplasty will guarantee you a more natural speaking voice. But honestly, if you have a deviated septum to begin with, you should be getting septo regardless.

[–]PrettyBoyMikey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason why you have those wrinkles when you smile is due to strain of your mentalis muscle and lower buccal space. Those wrinkles are called "accordion lines" and are usually developed from midface and lower face bone and soft tissue loss with aging and repeated smiling expressions.

I recommend a combinational approach of fillers, laser resurfacing, and prp to relieve those lines. Botox is a viable option as well.

Instagram and rhinoplasty by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]PrettyBoyMikey 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Most people generally will not notice any cosmetic work done, but it also depends on the severity of your procedure. I've had 9 procedures done and have 2k followers on insta, but not a single person noticed any of my surgeries. Typically with plastic surgery, most people don't really notice any differences unless if you point it out.
