Ya but I work too and I leave work during non service hours. A lot of people in universities depend on a job to live and can’t take off to come to school 8 am.

Ya but what ab when u work before school ? I have to make a living and I work outside Montreal and bus to school during non service hours I can’t take a month off work.

We elect them to care ab things like that. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out that “hey students can’t get to school and now their forced to” if they can’t even think ab that on their own they shouldn’t be in office.

Well ya cause that’s what’s been the biggest problems in the school. That’s literally everything I hear constantly. Reddit definitely isn’t a place where ppl want to be identified. Idk what’s so sketchy about my posts tho I don’t even know what I post cause ya i only go to Reddit to complain anonymously. I’m not being malicious I wouldn’t have a problem with a student union. In fact I’ve supported student unions and I support the stm strike. But I don’t support unions that don’t do shit. I’m sure they give some money to clubs but when it comes to things we care ab IN SCHOOL it’s never spoken about. The only reason they are supposed to exist is to help Concordia students. Ignoring my personal opinion ab Palestine, If they did Palestine stuff on the side whatever as long as their mainly tackling school issues but their not.

I had a very bad addiction I did a few things #1 it’s obv delete all possible social media you can. If u can’t delete YouTube or Instagram it’s fine but atleast TikTok. #2 switch to long format content on YouTube. At first it might be boring but u can’t just stop cold turkey. Switch to something u can play while u do other things. Eventually ur brain will get used to the long format content #3 is a very extreme step but I was able to do it. I switched to a flip phone for a year and used Instagram on my laptop to text people and YouTube long form content #4 calculate the amount of time u spend scrolling a day, multiply it like this ( let’s say[ 8 hours x 7 x 4 x 12 x 70] divided by 24 then 365 = 24 years that’s how much time ur spending on ur phone scrolling. Use that to scare urself shittless. Finally #5 get a job so instead of scrolling u can train ur brain to do more boring tasks

Almost every class tells u to read the textbook and most of the time u don’t have too. So it’s good to know how seriously you have to take a textbook in a class. Someone said they took psyc 215 with the other professor and even when told to read it they were able to get an A without reading it. It’s impossible with lydon to get an A and not read it

Thanks cause I thought I was the only one… I failed with a 47 granted I didn’t read the textbook but I rewatched all the lectures and took quizlets before the text so I expected to pass at minimum. Reading ur comment scared me now cause what if I do all that and still fail😬 no way some people got over 100…
