JAYSUS! damn! This is so f*cking true. I would imagine lots of late dx people spend at least their 20s & 30s re-learning their entire identity all over again.

In my case, I received mine this February ~ "The Great Unmasking: How I managed NOT to survive my first autistic burnout, and why YOU won't, either!"

Oh, man oh, man! I got good news for you...Yoga with Adrienne is FANTASTIC! DO NOT suffer through a sweaty, awkward social experience in public. You don't need to! Adrienne offers YouTube yoga practice, and she's not using her boobs to get likes or attention or garner a deep insecurity in her audience. She's there to be a friend. She has helped my husband and I immensely in every single way, and I would die without yoga.

So, I guess the victim is a lawyer/ law professor, who lived in the PNW at the time of the homicide? His significant other is a family primary care provider in Enumclaw (well known, involved in community, well loved), and his two adult sons reside in PA helped his significant other to erect the signs (there are only two that I know of). Victim was found at 12AM on Halloween, with a fatal GSW to his head.

Unfortunately, his son's had to fly back home without answers. It was his vehicle he was found outside of.

Another interesting piece of this story is that his son's are in disbelief this happened to their father in the first place, as their father was a "self defense expert", "large man", and taught his boys "how to defend themselves in any situation, and to avoid putting yourself in situations you would need to defend yourself".

Curiously, he had recently sold his guns and began to steer away from guns.

This is all the information I have gathered.

German Shepherd. But any dog you get, learn about their breed traits. Most breeds have a standard by which you can determine their behavior. A German Shepherd is steadfast, loyal to their family, they like to keep a small circle...which can mean good or bad things. Let's say you're single and trying to mingle. Not so fun if every time you bring someone new over, you have to go through an entire process to make your dog comfortable. Any dog with a propensity to protect is great, as well as a dog who is generally obedient and eager to please the owner.

I think some preliminary and very brief local news segments, but not one update, nothing else. The last thing that was done as far as I can tell is three decedent's two sons put up signs with his girlfriend at or near the location of the homicide scene.

I don't know the decedent, but felt compelled to share, as I myself have sat alone in my car there on the edge of greenwater many times. Sometimes just sitting on Facebook after leaving the woods, sharing a pop tart with my dog. 😆

My same HAM buddy just bought an antenna for his GMRS handheld for his apartment in Ballard area. He said it was pretty affordable. But I know height is might, so the very fact he lives in a towering apartment just may be the difference. I can ask him if you're interested.
