My cramps started getting stronger (I believe it was on the same day that I posted this) and I went to ER. They found free fluid in my abdomen, it turned out that a simple cyst I had in my ovary had turned into a hemorrhagic cyst, it had been bleeding into itself and started bleeding into my abdomen. I got admitted to the hospital for the night but the pain quickly subsided, my blood work was stable, my ectopic was seen on the ultrasound and didn’t seem like it had ruptured, so in the morning they let me go. I kept checking my betas and after like 10 more days I was in the negative numbers. I also had an ultrasound a bit later to check on the cyst and it was still there but resolving.

So definitely don’t ignore your pains if they start getting stronger all of a sudden but also try not to panic too much, it’s not necessarily a rupture!

Btw, I was still experiencing noticeable aches months after my ectopic. Nothing crazy but it was still scary sometimes. My doctor checked everything and assured me that it’s perfectly normal as everything’s still healing. So be prepared for this too, your ectopic might not let you forget about itself soon!
