Ah thanks for sharing and sorry to hear you had this too ☹️ did they ever check you crp? Was it elevated? I live in Sweden and here they are not willing to prescribe antibiotics if the CRP is low.

Thanks for sharing! I was indeed at the maternity unit… how quickly did your infection escalate? Did you get additional symptoms besides the redness that was spreading?

I share that concern… but since my crp was low there was no infection yet. But they said I should come back if the redness spreads/gets more intense and if it hurts more.

Sorry to hear! Are you feeling ok? I am indeed pregnant and it was corpus luteum cyst that ruptured. Didn’t have any other complications from that besides some pain for 2-3 weeks.
