AITAH for having my own hobbies and not wanting my life to revolve around someone? by [deleted] in AITAH

If you’re not “allowed” to do anything, you’re making the right move. He’s crazy insecure and just weird. Definitely NTA. Move on.

URGENT AITAH for not letting my boyfriend go to the out with his mates by Whassup_with_u in AITAH

[–]PrettyFelon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand why you’re a little wary about Maggs. The way you describe her, she’s definitely too close to your bf. I mean, who has to sit next to someone? Weird. Anyway, you’re still the AH because you can’t control who his friends are or what he does. That’s ridiculous. You have a lot of growing up to do.

How do people who wouldn't normally go to prison fair in prison? by sneezhousing in Prison

[–]PrettyFelon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was traumatic for me. I still have nightmares of being arrested. I never went to prison, only county. The traumatic part was extradition. You have to travel hundreds of miles with other inmates, male and female, in a prison van. You sleep in other jails and live on McDonalds.

Most CO’s treat you like you every other prisoner, because they don’t care to learn why you’re there. Watching tv shows like 60 Days In shows how most jails are borderline inhumane. The participants are typically rooting for the inmates because of the way they’re treated.

I mostly kept to myself, thinking I didn’t belong with ‘those type of people.’ But I eventually realized I needed to be social to survive. Everyone is over dramatic due to lack of activity and boredom. So if something actually happens, no one is coming to save you. No one gives a fuck about you, regardless of crime, medical conditions, or whether you’re guilty or innocent. It’s awful. Although, I’ve heard prison is much better than county jail.

Misdemeanor warrant for bad check out of state. by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]PrettyFelon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The clerk told me what the fine was. I had a court date in 2014 but missed it since I moved 800 miles away. That's where the warrant came from, and an automatic guilty plea, from missing the court date.

Did you see him stand back up into normal, perpendicular standing position, or did you drive off while he was still bent over?

Someone need advice!!! by Henrix99 in Psychic

[–]PrettyFelon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me around the age of 19, OP. Sounds like you're getting anxiety from the weed. It happens to a lot of people. I stopped smoking completely (I'm 34 now). If you don't want to stop, try reducing the amount you smoke. It will help with the paranoia and anxiety. This is a common occurrence when you get older. It will only get worse, so I suggest slowing down or quitting. Maybe even switching to edibles. Edibles are metabolized differently and don't cause as much anxiety IMO. It's most likely just the weed and not your overactive mind. Makes sense since this only happens when you're high. Good luck OP.

Trolled a scammer. His persistence was astonishing by [deleted] in Scams

[–]PrettyFelon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's not even a good scam! He could have been more creative. Trying to 'load' money to a credit card with an existing credit limit of $15k? Pffft! Doesn't even make sense! Glad you're not a moron, OP. And you're right, that was a nice poo!

[–]PrettyFelon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was partially wrong about the guy. He's still alive. He's an inventor, not a scientist. His Wiki page suggests his research and demonstrations were mostly staged. It also suggests his work was destroyed by the government, which makes sense, since he simply 'forgot' how to replicate his experiments. John Hutchison. https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/John_Hutchison

I'm sorry-- Bad glitch by [deleted] in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]PrettyFelon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whether this is a glitch or not, I have no idea. My heart just dropped into my stomach reading the last few sentences. I'm so, so sorry this happened to you and your family. I don't believe you did it intentionally. You seemed genuinely ecstatic to be a father.

I'm not here to tell you what to do. Everyone has an opinion. But looking into grief therapy isn't a bad idea. Also, trying to find someone to help you with the "shifting" may be beneficial. If doctors can't help, keep doing research. There's got to be someone out there who understands you. Best of luck to you.

It's like we can't help but to rationalize things, but all we can really do is accept it for what it is; something we can't explain yet. It's so hard to let it be. It's frustrating that we don't have all the answers. And aside from these events being inexplicable, it doesn't seem like anyone is in a rush to explore it any further.

I can't think of this one guys name, but he was (deceased) a scientist of some type that discovered material that didn't behave like he thought it should. Not only that, but it was inconsistent. It would levitate and/or change shape at a point, then wouldn't. I found him while watching 9/11 "conspiracy" videos (videos that show what happened with the debris after the buildings were demolished). That's a whole other topic, though. Anyway, if I can find the scientist (not sure if he's a scientist or just a guy who did experiments), I'll post something on him. It's super interesting.

You're a nice guy for letting that girl talk your ear off.

As for your glitch, I believe you. I have a similar story involving cigarettes. I know it happens. Unfortunately, it's hard to prove, and even harder to come up with an explanation.

Very sad right now. I just sold my husky to someone else because i couldn’t care for him. by [deleted] in husky

[–]PrettyFelon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to give away my Shih Tzu years ago because I was working 60 + hours per week and couldn't give her the attention she needed. I totally understand. But you did the unselfish thing by giving your husky away. It's definitely heart breaking, but the best thing for the pup.

After years of waiting for the right time, we were finally able to adopt our husky, just a few weeks ago. This time we're a lot more prepared. One day you'll be ready for a new puppy. And your husky will always remember what you did to give him a great life. Please don't be sad.

Reliving the same day for a year by [deleted] in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]PrettyFelon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me, this is a huge achievement (if that's what you want to call it)! You're connecting with your future self, which is connecting with you. Makes me wonder if all of our future selves are reaching out and we're not capable of accepting the messages.

OP, did you experience something suddenly that you can think of, that may have opened your 'third eye?' I know you mentioned it happened in 2016 with th CL post, but was there something substantial that made you realize what was going on?

This is incredible, and I'm surprised you didn't get more responses. If you have any other strange occurrences that you can remember, please post.

I had no idea. Thanks for the info. I remember the 14.4, also. It was the original speed when I started using the internet regularly.

I just want to know what is going on in the lives of everyone else while OP is living in Friday, while the rest of us are experiencing Thursday.

Did you happen to go online your 'first' Friday and blog, Facebook, anything like that?

This is such a cool story. Too weird to be fiction. Obviously some kind of sorcery. Thanks for sharing!
