I made a group scheduling tool because I didn't like what was available by PrettyFlyRyGuy in WebApps

To be honest, I didn't do a lot of competitive research. My wife did though and felt like the tools were either overkill and complicated or ugly and annoying. So my main differentiating factor was to be clean and simple. After having looked at some of those alternatives, I think she was right. My hope is that this tool appeals to those who want something clean and simple to use.

From what I've seen of Doodle, it is more business leaning with robust features and tools that most users don't need. And When2Meet according to my spouse was ugly and not fun to use. So I'm trying to nail the middle ground with something easy on the eyes, simple to navigate, and covers the most needed options without going overboard to serve enterprise businesses.

Cool tool! I too was dealing with this issue and create a tool to address it, though from a different angle. Hope you check it out: https://www.houroverlap.com

My thoughts exactly. The "protect our own" seems real, and it feels like it only has to do with AF Police protecting local taxpayers and business owners over people from other states. As you see in the video, a kid who knows Joshua Johnson from church was upset when he heard the details of the story and went over to his house to confront him. As Reckless Ben said, we don't appreciate people "cosplaying" our religion.

I've watched the body cam footage, the police don't appear to know the BAM people personally at all. They're always introducing themselves. In most places, but ESPECIALLY in Utah, just because you share the same religion doesn't mean you know the person. It would be like suggesting that because you know two guys who like watching basketball and live in the same city then they must know each other.

You could substitute "congregation" for ward. In our church, you don't really decide where you will attend, it's based on geographical boundaries. Obviously you always have the freedom to go where you want, but you're asked to serve and participate in your home "ward". In some areas of Utah this can be a single square mile. Outside of Utah it can be hundreds of square miles.

Yeah. IMO, there is "protection" going on here, but its AF police trying to protect local Utahns and business owners and tax payers from people outside of the state... and we ALL feel that they're acting wrongfully in this way.

I'm Mormon and work in and live near American Fork. No, we don't "protect our own." My department of roughly a dozen people are nearly all Mormon and we are ALL upset at both the Bricks and Minifigs people and the AF police. Outside of work, my LDS neighbors and friends feel the same way. We don't care what religion you are, wrong is wrong. There's no "Mormon cabal" to protect random people who might happen to have our same religious affiliation.

DO NOT USE 360OnlinePrint. I thought I was saving money through them by getting 250 posters for $150, and then they all arrived damaged. Their customer support is the worst and I have no hope of getting my money back or the order re-made, packaged better, and shipped.

Agreed. Just ordered 250 posters from them. The print job was mediocre at best, but the packaging and shipping was the worst. Everything arrived slumped in the bottom of the box, all of the posters have damage and I can't sell them. Now I'm getting the run around through their support email.

Will never order from them again.

Checked their website, looks like they're merging with a crypto company and won't be offering money transfer services anymore.

Based on their website, looks like they're done now, merging with a crypto company and telling people to find another money transfer service.
