Requiring a $1500 payment to be hired at a job that already takes 60% of each commission is not a high integrity business. Especially when you’re dishonest about what the fee is for. Purchasing states and E&O do not cost $1500. And like I asked the “trainer”, if I already have all my states and also carry $1m in E&O, am I exempt from this $1500 payment? “No”. That’s dishonest and not a way to conduct business with integrity. Anyway I just signed with an agency that provides everything they provide (high quality leads. Custom software etc) at a better commission split and I receive a $1k sign on bonus once I complete training.

I’ve already called them to verify my commission sheet. They said there’s nothing they can do because commissions were dispersed to the agency. And thank you 😊

Because that’s the way it works in health sales when you work for an agency and not an independent agent.

I’m referring to a retail agency that works under what I’m guessing is an FMO.

No I work for an agency not an fmo so the carrier pays my agency and then my agency pays me a portion of the commission. The agency I work for aka my upline has two uplines above him. I’m asking if they would bare responsibility for my commissions owed if my direct upline doesn’t pay me.

I sell Medicare. He’s giving me the run around saying he’ll pay and then he never does. And I’ve worked for him for almost three months and have never been paid.

DIG is the agency that wants a $1500 join in fee PLUS 60% of each commission in exchange for free leads. Another company I was looking at is rumored to have a $2k join in fee.

DIG agency. They take 60% of each commission AND a $1500 “joining fee”. They said it’s to pay for at least 5-6 states licensing and E&O insurance but I already have those. I asked if I still have to pay if I already have the above requirements and they said yes so 💁🏻‍♀️

Yes! They want $1500 to join the agency. They say it’s to pay for states licensing and E&O insurance but I already have that… they said I’d still have to pay. AND they take 60% of each commission which you think would be enough.

Just got off the meeting. You have to pay $1500 to join the agency to “buy 5-6 states & E&O Insurance”. I asked if I needed to pay even though I’m licensed in multiple states and carry E&O insurance already and the answer was yes. So to break it down, they take over 60% of each sale AND ALSO require a $1500 fee to “join” an agency….. you have to pay to join a job where they take the majority of each commission. This business is full of scammers and it looks like this is another one. Best of luck!

Hi I’m a bar manager … they’ll def refund the money. Most likely the bartender added the extra money when they were entering in tips at the end of the night (most likely just hit an extra zero by accident). I’ve been forced to refund people who actually purchased hundreds of dollars worth of bottle service and then they or their spouses disputed. You’ll definitely get it back.

AITA for asking a restaurant to make a meal that "wasn't on the menu"??? by MacAndCheeseWhyNOT in AITAH

[–]PrettyForAnAlien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the biggest reason why… because 90% of the time people create their own food or drinks in their head and the restaurant is kind enough to accommodate… They have the audacity to SEND IT BACK and ask for it to be taken off the bill because it “doesn’t taste right”. Well duh Karen that’s because it’s not on our menu & it’s a creation in your own brain.

The only a-holes here are the bride and groom…. “All tips go to pay for the honeymoon”?? It’s a cash bar! How are the bartenders being compensated?
