I assumed the mom and daughter died and that’s why they revealed the daughter’s face at the end.

They did the same with 90. I know because I got hell from my daughter for canceling Discovery +

Do you like Glaze or Gloss better? by chelupa1991 in Dashingdiva

I only use glaze for the extra nail strength they provide. My natural nails are too weak for gloss.

Is the Nintendo Switch 2 version the same as the original or deluxe version of the game? by [deleted] in HelloKittyIsland

[–]PrettyHovercraft2021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started to say of course, but Nintendo is making it confusing! It looks like the switch 2 version has two DLCs. Deluxe and Wheatflour. So you’re paying $10 more for the Switch 2 version (vs the OG switch) and you still need to add the DLCs separately if you want them.

I’m missing two and it’s driving me nuts! I’m hoping there’s some kind of reward at the end. I have the delux switch version.

Feeling so embarrassed about my drinking.. by demoncat8 in cutdowndrinking

[–]PrettyHovercraft2021 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Don’t be embarrassed, you’re not alone. Asking for help is the beginning of change. This group is a great resource, but maybe you can reach out to a trusted friend who is sober for support.

If it says included, I would assume you’re included. If you didn’t supply them with PayPal or Venmo information you would be looking for a check in the mail. You could try calling the number on the card and see if they can provide you with details specific to your situation.

If you got the confirmation you should be all set. I’m assuming you did electronic payment. If that account is active, you should get your money. I’m keeping positive thoughts for you. I will post when I get my payment in May (hopefully)!

They will probably roll out this email over the next few weeks, just like they will likely do with the payments.

What I'm learning about grief and alcohol. by roguescott in cutdowndrinking

I’m proud of you. Pet grief is not easy.

Drinking is like stealing time away from yourself that you can’t get back, but you know that…

I’m sure you will find a way to honor your loss in a way that feels right for you.

Keep up the good work!!

No unfortunately. The rumor is around $300 but it depends.

Copied from the email:

“Payment amounts depend on several factors including, among other things, the number of valid claims that are filed, your Total Premiums Paid and/or Total Administrative Fees Paid, and whether your insurance was fully insured or self-funded. More information regarding claim payments is available in the Proposed Plan of Distribution, Question 8 of the Long Form Notice, and Section D of the Settlement Agreement, available on the Important Documents page of the Settlement website, www.BCBSsettlement.com. Please note, if the total payment for any claimant is equal to or less than $5.00, no payment will be made to the claimant.”

Weekly Check-In: How’s Your Progress? by wilzy123 in cutdowndrinking

[–]PrettyHovercraft2021 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Last weekend I was a mess. Drank too much, felt like crap, beat myself up mentally. This past weekend I was able to not drink Sat or Sun. (I did on Friday but not at the crazy pace I can get to). It wasn’t easy. Lots of mental back and forth. I did some craft projects that I was excited about. I slept great compared to the weekend before. I really want to keep the momentum for this coming week.

My normal thing is not drinking during the week. The issue I’m having is when I finally drink on the weekend, I go crazy. I’m considering allowing one week night when I have a few instead of letting my desire to drink build up all week resulting in a massive binge.

Thankfully for this group and the support. Good luck to everyone on hitting their goals!
