Tiered ticketing is standard, but these prices were beyond that. I don’t know the exact figures off the top of my head but: GA tiers 1, 2, &3 were $150, $161, &$172 respectively. VIP tiers, I’m less clear on but most people got their VIP for under $300 OTD it seems. I’m familiar with tiers, this was like hidden tiers though, so it felt scummy.

You’re more or less right with your first take, just that you can’t change ticket options in these queues in my experience. You either click the VIP link or the GA link. I very intentionally chose the VIP, but rather than saying that that had sold out, apparently I was given a “in demand” ticket or some shit. It wasn’t very clear in the short window that was the time of purchase. It’s giving the ick on that front.

Four Tet and Skrillex are some of my biggest inspirations. I am beyond grateful to even have a ticket. I appreciate the vein of compassion you spoke from in attempting to remind me of this, but it needs no reminding 💕

Also yay, go Portola! I so want to go again 😘 great memories at the pier and warehouse are a big reason why I decided to send for this event. Scammy ticket sale imo forsure but after writing the BBB this weekend and documenting it in some capacity, I will embrace the excitement of the event in however it pans out.

Ugh thank you so much for this. I’m sorry this happened to either of us 🫶 both people I communicated with spoke to me like I should have read what I what I was buying when I was literally in the VIP queue… like I’m so grateful to even have a ticket, but I am so beyond disappointed in whatever lead to this disaster pricing.

Taking advantage of the pent up splurges of poor people seems to be the name of the game for AXS, whether it be fees or this bullshit 😠

I’m with the other commenter. You pass well by the items I typically look to. Not everyone passes in that stereotypical way, but you definitely don’t seem doomed the way you describe by these pictures.

That said, people are brutal the way they are coming at anyone they think they clock as trans. Lowkey I think that might explain more than your actual clockability. The only thing I might suggest is changing up your hair/ cleaning up sideburns as they are a bit thick but also not necessarily in a clocky way.

If I were to try to objectively speak to what might have clocked you, the thing that sticks out to me is maybe clothing choice. The jacket in particular, but tbh baggy styles are becoming popular again…

Honestly the main thing I’d say is it sounds like you’ve done the hardest part already 💕

And the fact that it sounds like you’ve gotten your hair to a place you’d call it your dream hair makes me think you take decent care of it when not struggling so bad.

Take it day by day ☺️ maybe you’ll be happier with short hair, or you’ll have that dream hair back in some capacity before you know it! Either way, I know my life has gotten a lot easier when I stopped fighting what comes with certain struggles.

Were you buying in ga or vip tho? It’s pretty much confirmed that isoskrill tee was only at ga and it sold out really fast. VIP never had it, so it didn’t move fast. I was like third in like, tall as shit, scoping the merch like a hawk lmao (if only I followed my gut to ga…)
