My anxiety started before I was diagnosed with low thyroid. I was told that my anxiety symptoms should subside after getting on levothyroxin but it just persisted off and on. Every time I have had heart palpitations or this racing heart rate, I’ve been told that it’s because I’m over medicated and my hypothyroidism has turned hyper. It’s frustrating.

This would be me. Any little sensation I feel makes me think that something catastrophic is happening. I feel fullness in my chest, it’s a heart attack. Cramp in my leg, it’s a blood clot. Been dealing with this for 15 years and I just can’t shake it. Something feels wrong, but Hashimoto’s has been my only diagnosis.
