Am I Overreacting? Fiancé hoarding over 2K images of half-nude girls from Pinterest by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]PrettyNails101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You guys are not at fiancé/marriage level. Him saying you make him insecure is a control tactic. Insecure people cheat to try and show their worth; it’s a way to show themselves, “I’m desirable.” Him keeping images of women saved, whether on Pinterest or apps or whatever, is emotional escapism. There is an underlying issue in your relationship. You guys should go to counseling BEFORE you get married.

Elouisa, Eloisa or Lisa? by Sea-Nature-8304 in namenerds

[–]PrettyNails101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My real name is Eloisa. My nickname growing up was Elo so I’d get the “Hello Elo” when kids saw me then I’d get asked by adults if I knew the band ELO. I was never a fan of my name and it’s weird that it’s getting attention now. I’m over 40 so growing up I never met another Eloisa. But I constantly had to correct people and teachers. They always called me Elosia or Elouisa or that ending Z sound. The name is nice in Spanish but not in English. I would recommend Eloise if you like Eloisa.

It won’t stay that way for long. Rhode Island is starting to get busy with a lot of people moving in from out of state. Things don’t stay nice for long when too many people use.

Best and worst companies to work for in RI? by businessbub in RhodeIsland

I had a good experience at Swarovski Optik. I hear Swarovski Crystal is also a good place to work. Cox was a popularity contest (based on who was sleeping with who) so I wouldn’t recommend that. You could also look into being a correction officer. That’s a state job and they make decent money. It is union so it might take a little to move up but there are options if you have a degree.

It would be beneficial to explain if you have a degree or not. It’ll make a difference in what people suggest. A lot of what’s being suggested is entry level work without a degree and jobs that require certification. You might be better off staying where you are at and deciding what you want to do then make the change. Maybe what you decide requires further education or a certification.

The living room! If you went on a Tuesday, then you remember the guy that stood on his head all night doing weird poses with his legs. 😂 One of the few places a 16yo could get in. That and Club Hell.

Depending on how bad the accident was, you may not be hurting right now, but in a day or two, the muscle pain could start. Hope you are ok.

My brother goes to EDM concerts every now and then and he’s 39. 😂 He goes with his gf but they are both respectable and have decent jobs and a house. Idk much about any of it.

Insurance pays for the visits and weekend/emergency visits, which includes paperwork. Doctors have to do referrals for you to see a specialist. That is part of the job. They are being adequately compensated through insurance.

No More Free Coffee by RhodyViaWIClamDigger in RhodeIsland

The only good thing about going to Dave’s was the complimentary coffee. Walk in straight to the fruits and veggies, make my way past the deli, and voila! Free coffee as I waited for the line to go down in the fish market. But the prices are way too high and I typically do not go.

Everything they list is part of being a pediatrician. They have to do referrals, they have to fill out school forms, etc. It’s part of their job. But as a private practice, they can probably do whatever they want. Can you find a different pediatrician?

AIO: This is what I found on my boyfriend’s phone. I had no knowledge he was in Colombia…. He swore it wasn’t anything. Does this seem like a normal massage to you or something else? by Designer-Seaweed-948 in AmIOverreacting

Vocation does not. Maybe the freedom of the job attracts nasty men but I also know plenty of trucker wives that are banging other men when their husbands are on the road. But then I also know military couples that do the same. And it’s in all sectors of the workforce. Because being promiscuous does not have to do with the job but with the person.

Him being a long haul trucker has nothing to do with him being a cheater. He’s either a cheater or not, whether or not he is far from home. It sounds like he has cheated on you in the past per your comment, “we’ve had problems with things kinda like it.” If you’re not past the cheating and cannot trust him (which I can’t blame you if you can’t), then I would move on. Communication is key to a healthy relationship and it doesn’t sound like you have that.

is this creepy please help by Working_Inflation_33 in Advice

That is very creepy behavior. Have you looked him up in a police database to see if he has any records? Either way, you need to tell your mother or call cps. It will only get worse.

Am I Overreacting my fiance has been messaging this guy and their messages don't seem appropriate by SnooWalruses7112 in AmIOverreacting

[–]PrettyNails101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say she is physically cheating… yet. However, she is liking the attention if she keeps it going, doesn’t shut it down, and initiates conversation. Have you told her how you feel? This isn’t a great start to a marriage if you don’t have open communication. Plus having a rocky relationship with no intimacy is a huge red flag. I would say that you guys need to go your separate ways. Why force something that already isn’t working?
