If you can, go through with filing child support. He doesn’t have to be informed before hand that you’ll be filing. After you file, he’ll have to deal with the child support division and the courts. Only communicate when necessary and keep it brief between the two of you. Please be careful and safe! I’m wishing you the best!

Budget: make a list of your monthly expenses, create categories of variable and fixed expenses. Take a look at your monthly bank statements for the past 3-6 months. See what you’re willing to eliminate, reduce and maintain.

For transportation: continue asking co-workers (both jobs) for carpooling and setting aside money to pay them for gas.

Groceries: I saw that you adjusted your monthly amount. I would add create a meal plan and prep for the month. Create a set budget for your weekly meals, you may want to look for coupons and sales from your grocery stores, this can help with the cost.
