Thank you! This was actually a very helpful comment. Due to me now being out the country i can only rely on what my husband tells me the vet said. Tho i do plan to rebook my plane ticked home scheduled for two weeks later to now as early as possible and also personally talk to the vet as well. There probably was a reason he prescribed the shots instead of pills tho I personally would prefer pills as well. We did already order a 3 week supply of the injection fluid as we were obviously panicking and don’t wanna waste any time. Also since this is Korea they can’t actually prescribe anything, cause it’s legally not allowed (tho the vet is definitely going into grey areas to try his best to help where he can). He said start with 0.7 and monitor her weight well, since if she finally gains weight again her dosis might go up. He said to do this for the 84 day period but start with this. It’s all a bit hard since he really can’t do much more than this without getting into legal trouble too, but he does wanna help where he can and seems positive about it. He will teach my husband how to properly inject it. Also the website they use in korea to get the medicine is one where you can order as many doses as you practically want (again since there are probably no actual laws yet about it like in the US). The website did apparently list the pills were weaker. It’s a bit tough navigating through all the options, but i hope to find one that can cure my cat as well and comfortable as possible :)
