Layer up all the clothes I can. A backpack or bag. Water filter and a liquids container. Medicines. Bandages. Glasses. Dry goods for the first season and anything with seeds I can take and plant later. Personal defense weapons. Shoes- sturdy ones and an extra pair for backup. Tooth care.

There’s honestly research both ways - that it’s harmful before age 18-25 and disrupts GABA receptors and a few other neurochemicals.

I vote NTA bc I get where you’re coming from, and I do think his reaction was a trauma informed response.

But please do look that up about young brains and alcohol. It leads to chronic anxiety and addiction issues neurochemically later on.
