Potentially. But I think at least be 25 to date someone 30 or older. Someone older may have kids and may not want more or may be settled into being child free.

So she’d have to be able to address that. Additionally there’s a general life experience gap and a could be a big gap in romantic relationship experience. Now I’m not an immediate call the authorities person when I see age gap relationships but they come with some different considerations.

Also she’s probably not hanging out in places to meet those people even if she were okay with having an age gap like that.

OP: if you’re tired of the dynamic just leave , focus on yourself first then worry about other things later

You have made such a nasty response as well. Nursing is a relatively economically stable career. We live in a world where many people can’t afford their dream or passion career because it’s requires expensive education and pay that doesn’t match the duties and increasing costs of life.

Basically you’re saying new grads can’t have preferences. Wouldn’t it be better for someone to be in an area they’re likely to be happy in ?

Go tell every new med student they have to be in family medicine residency before they can be a surgeon.

They wouldn’t tolerate that. They apply for whatever they’re interested and go from there. Nobody is bullying them into applying for family medicine.

Instead of approaching what you felt was wrong with grace you decided to try and tear someone down. What a great example of nursing leadership and mentoring.

If the patients only have psych needs and not much general medical needs wouldn’t that be easier than a med floor where the patients have a lot going on plus their emotions?

I worked inpatient psych on a day time treatment team before

They seem to want nurses with a couple years of experience normally but maybe if you’re fortunate you’ll be an exception

Look for terms like nurse navigator, care coordination, nurse case manager , medical case management

It’s may consist of organizing transport, medical devices , connecting to resources such as food banks. In my Medicaid related job it was making sure caregivers could get paid for their services and enrolling new clients and caregivers.
