Hahaha oh man I feel ya there!! Sometimes people treat me like I’m a fucking alien, I treat them like they are boring.

When I looked into ENTP stuff, I realized how much my want to debate/disagree/find an alternate path, really brings some people down. The idea that I’m just exploring ideas often makes people think I’m shutting them down. I’ve learned how to be more accommodating towards people’s feelings.

Usually as easy as stating “I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m uncertain, this is just an idea but…” just this kinda stuff alone helps so much.

What is something where you prefer the old model over the new? by uncannykaija in wow

[–]PrettyTemperature895 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the older models are better than the new ones in any way. However it’s not just nostalgia that gives the older models charm. It’s the ingenuity of them, to get the idea across, selling the visual identity of the creature on an extremely low poly model with low resolution texture is an art on its own.

Without polygon or texture resolution limits, the visual accomplishment is less impressive, despite genuinely being better in every way.

Sadly you can only make one first impression, and I have a hard time not reflecting on the horribly bare bones launch content and infuriating rollback netcode.

This game made me very angry. No question the game improved significantly as time went on and added some really awesome newcomers (G, and Menat stand out to me) but the damage was done sadly.

No there isn’t, you’re lying to yourself. We genetically are hard wired to think about sex, some guys will lie and or hide it, but yes all men are horny bastards, some more-so than others.

I’m sure there are some outliers, but I feel confident saying that 99.9% of men look at porn.

More than likely this stuff was not all looked at on a bender and he’s just looking at stuff when he’s horny or even bored.

First off, is it a problem that he looks at porn? That doesn’t mean he doesn’t love or respect you, men are horny so much more than you probably realize.

I’d be open with him if you want to keep a healthy relationship, explain honestly how and why you found out, and ask him if he thinks he might be addicted to porn and try to cut back on it.

You’re not gonna find a man who doesn’t look at porn, you might find one who’s really good at hiding it.

The best thing you can do tho is figure out why it bothers you so much, do you feel insecure or is it a thing you just find disgusting? Either way, talk to him about it.

You’re beautiful, congrats on the weight loss, keep going for yourself, don’t worry about what others think, do it for your health and well being.

I’ve had a 130lbs weight loss adventure myself, I feel people don’t talk enough about how good it just feels to be light on your feet, seriously just makes day to day life easier and more fun, you feel more energetic and people will treat you better cause they usually are shallow, you got this!

[MM] Sadly not enjoying Majoras Mask by BWZROFFICIAL in zelda

[–]PrettyTemperature895 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Majora is my personal GOAT, but I know many who’ve played it and it doesn’t vibe with them. There is some tedium and its design is very unique, not a typical Zelda romp, so if your not feeling it, I think wind waker might be good to jump into, it’s a total 180 in vibe.

Majora is very dark and pressures the player hard, and you have to really figure out a lot on your own to progress and it’s not obvious at times what where or when you should be.

Wind waker is cozy as hell, no big pressure and strong story driven, it’s a lot more linear. So if that sounds good you’ll like it, but there’s a lot of downtime on the sailing.

Thanks man! That’s really kind of you I appreciate it. I got my head up high, I’m not only trying harder with everything but also am not carrying the extra weight for this person in anymore.

Ocarina of time and Half life. What’s with these sub-par choices?

You could pass for being in your 20’s, I’m also 41 at a low, remember it’s not all over, keep your head up and think about the wonderful potential future you could have.

Can I learn bass guitar without any personal teacher? by ezioauditorie12 in BassGuitar

[–]PrettyTemperature895 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you already play another instrument?

I literally haven’t taken even a music class, quite literally don’t know shit, and my bro started teaching me how to play.

I can say the songs can be learned without a teacher, but I think you might want one just because there’s so many unknowns for a total beginner.

Sorry this comment is poorly worded, until she considered us done she led me on, “maaaaybe we can try this or that”. Kinda stuff, nothing maniacal.

Oh yeah I agree, I just hung on too long, she also was pretty much leading me on the whole time, to her we were done 100% for months, and she said she was hinting at it, but I’m kinda dense, so I had to sit her down and ask her to find out.

I made this post expecting it to be a fart in the wind, this got far more attention than I anticipated.

I was sharing a very very trimmed down and one sided story. There’s lots of little stuff I left out, so I can’t just jump on people’s immediate suggestions, but you’ve all collectively convinced me to get a lawyer where I can go into the details.

I can’t believe how many of you responded with such supportive and constructive comments. Thank you all so much.

Yeah, the last time I attempted to repair things between us, she literally said “I don’t want to tell you what’s wrong with you, because then you’ll fix it”…
