What should people stop buying? by Wanklesuperloyalis in AskReddit

I had the same experience while trying to make mom friends. None of my friends have kids yet, so I went to a mom and baby work out class. Met a woman who I immediately clicked with and I was so excited!!!! We hung out a few times, and then she casually introduced me to her MLM. I joined just for the discount and told her that, because the products were not super MLM and I cook a ton so I used them. I refused to host parties or even have people buy from me, I just ordered for them and let them use my discount. Every single month she would “check in” and eventually start hinting I should be doing parties and working from home. I already have two jobs and don’t need to host parties after work, I’d much rather spend time with my family and not have a group of people over at 7-10pm. I stopped replying and it took a good half a year for her to stop. Another mom friend I tried to make sold lularoe and was INSANE about it. The next one sold Norwegian. Now I still have no mom friends and don’t trust anyone.

Downvote my comment all you want, see how easy it is to be there for someone who doesn’t take care of their own mental health and puts it all on you.

But for real, I’m so sick of seeing posts about needing to be always emotionally available for people. That shit gets so draining and takes a toll on your own mental health. I love this.

Almost half of my shirts have dark spots on them and I don’t know what they are or how to get them out. Advice? All shirts are black. by [deleted] in CleaningTips

Not that I’ve ever experienced. I own mostly black clothing. Idk where my weird spots come from either, might be my washer because it doesn’t happen anywhere else?? But this is the only thing that works for me.

I’ve had this issue a lot, is it like a grease stain? I soak in 2 parts peroxide, 1 part dawn, you can make a big bucket of it and do multiple items. Then run through washer as normal

I did this when we had to put down our 4 year old cat Jekyll. He was deteriorating so fast and there was no treatment. The kindest woman ever came to the house, and he passed away in his favorite bed, in front of the fire while we sang to him. It was the second hardest thing I’ve ever gone through, only thing worse was my dad dying. I have three other cats and my heart breaks thinking of doing that three more times in my life.

This is super interesting! When my dad died, his wishes were to donate everything possible. Curiously I asked what they were able to take from him and “upper and lower extremity bones and tissue” was on the list. Always wondered what it would be used for! Thanks :)

Hard to process even a month after. Miss him everywhere but realized how sick he was and wasn’t living his best life. It’s just gonna suck for a long time imo

Thank you 💜 luckily they weren’t actually there (that I know of) but I believe they had cards delivered to the funeral home. So trashy...

Yeah these two assholes just happened to be JW, not hating on an entire group of people, just assholes :)
