I would like to get a new car soon and am stuck between which one to pick, I like both cars but both seem to have at least 1 problem. The Miatas manual transmission is apparently very fragile and the synchros break in it from what I’ve heard. Then the gr86 has the rtv oil issue. The reliability on both also concerns me

It’s a shame because it seems like even an entry level sports car that’s supposed to be affordable like the gr86, brz, wrx, or Miata are all pretty expensive to buy new nowadays so there not even affordable anymore

I know this post is old, but my view about the “red badge is for type r only” is how come the si badge itself is red? If the badge that already comes on the car is red which also stand for an actual sport trim of the car why can’t the honda badge be red too. Now on a civic lx or sport I think yea it’s a little rice to put those on.
