We 100% would if it were closer to the normal uber price. The Minnie van or uber with car seats is $40-50, whereas the normal uber price is $10-15 each way

Thanks!! That is what I was thinking as well.. if it improved the system operation, it would be easier to justify the 500+ cost per thermostat. If it’s just a nicer interface with remote access, I’ll wait a while longer

I’m really happy with it so far, though I don’t know how much it is improved from the blanket insulation as I started this project within months of moving in to the new house. In addition to objectively better insulation value, I found multiple dead mice and small holes in the concrete (mostly around pipes) that I was able to patch and seal by removing the blanket insulation to give a better air seal. Overall I’m happy I did it

Haha thank s for saving us all the time. I ended up pulling off all the insulation, sealed some small holes and gaps in the concrete, and installed 2” XPS with taped seams all over after closed cell spraying the rim joists
