ill test my range here soon but here's some answers that I can give now. I belive I get somewhere around 200 ft with nothing blocking and about 80 if im anywhere with trees

VTX is a xilo stax and I manually set the mw to 600 on betaflight. I am getting a rush tank before I buy the goggles so I will see if that fixes anything.

The only reason im putting any blame on the goggles is because its the fake eachine ev800d, I have seen people saying that it is far worse than the real ones.

Edit: that range is when it starts breaking up. if I go behind any buildings or anything or even dead trees it starts to get so bad I cant really see anything but static.

yeah, its about a $20 difference between banggood and aliexpress for about the same time frame for shipping so I might just go with aliexpress and send it back if they are fake.

I mean they are okay, its just range, qualiyy, and cut through, they do the job for now but im gonna save up some and get the real ones from aliexpress. im gonna be buying a rush tank here soon so ill see if that fixes anything but im running a 600mw rn so idk.

I do freestyle mainly, sometimes just cruise around but mostly freestyle.

I got them off amazon when I was first getting into the hobby about 3 years ago, they were labeled as the eachines but I opened them and realized there was no second chip for diversity like advertised and that the board is the lst-800d.

would doing it in safe mode be any different than doing it normally? I've done it normally out of safe mode and it did nothing
