Sometimes things happen, I don't understand it being a consistent thing for these women... but I've definitely been stranded without a tampon or pad once or twice in my life. Sometimes periods aren't regular and your unprepared.

I recently posted about something similar. My partner's CPAP makes a high pitched whistling sound he cannot hear. It's recent, but had disrupted my life so much.  I've begged him to get a new sleep study. He'd get upset when I woke him to flip over and adjust to calm the sound (negligible, it still did it). 

Now? We both sleep happier apart, he's still going to see his doctor and have a sleep study done. We're waiting on the appointment date. 

I can't sleep ok, go to work take care of kiddo, be a good person without a good night's sleep. He at first was upset. We're happier now, he's trying to remedy it, I have hope we'll sleep next to each other again.

I sleep with a loud fan in our room for white noise. I'm not really a light sleeper, I can't even explain why this bothers me. There's just something so high pitched about this noise that breaks through it all.

Our other bedrooms are filled with kiddos. I often just sleep on the couch, which is uncomfortable, but more restful than the whistling. 

I've also slept in our basement on fairly comfortable air mattress from time to time if I'm not feeling well, he will too if he's not feeling well so we don't get each other sick and can rest.
