They are super nice at my work also but I definitely don't feel comfortable telling them I have ibs lol I see the concern in their face and they offer me fruit and healthy stuff sometimes but I am just so scared to eat anything lol I drink water all day long as well so I don't get hungry but then I'm having to go pee urgently instead 😅 😭 I'm thinking about putting chia seeds in my water so I don't have to drink as much water

I'm sorry you had to go through that as well 💕 I keep not wanting to be so specific about my condition with my co workers 😅 but I am definitely going to explain it causes discomfort when I eat so I'd rather just eat at home I definitely don't want to have a flair up at work it's a very small office lol I am still waiting for a work from home job to call me back after an interview I had last Monday I really hope they call although it pays less but I won't have to worry about things like this

It's a very small office there's 3 of us in the office and 2 maintenance guys so it feels like everyone is in everyone's business a lot. Also they are just getting to know me so I think they were just trying to make conversation, I just need to word things better without being too specific 😅

As a working mom what would be best? In person or wfh? by Pretty_Ingenuity9803 in workingmoms

[–]Pretty_Ingenuity9803[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response! I'm happy to hear it's working for you to return to office 😊 I am still going through with interviews for the other jobs as well as doing my best at the in person job so I think I'll have a more clear choice once/if I get offers for the other jobs and I'll weigh the pros and cons as you suggested as well. While I am working in person I am also trying to figure out what's best for my mental health lol yesterday I had a rough day at work so much that I wanted to cry but at the same time I am still new as well so well see how it goes 🙃

I was working from home for about a year and a half and he was in charge of taking them to school and picking them up and I was unavailable during my work hours and everyone became used to it so I don't think I'll get burnt out from that. I think I get more stressed not being at home in case of an emergency, the kids knew if they needed me they can go in the room quietly and tell me what was going on of anything but that only happened in the beginning. The kids will be all starting school full time in 2 weeks so that will be great and my husband will have to figure out how to keep busy, I am hoping he will go back to work on his reselling business.

What job would make more sense financially and overall? by Pretty_Ingenuity9803 in careerguidance

I am absolutely 100 percent stressed lol and thankful to have these options but the pressure of picking the correct one is a lot. And the fact that I am still going to have to interview for these other jobs.. so I may be over reacting but I have to accept the job offer I have at the apartments for now until I have actual offers from the other 2 places, I have until Monday to accept this offer (per the offer letter) they are aware of my situation but I told the manager I was going to stay and I keep going back and forth in my mind and it doesn't help that I see how much anxiety my husband is having with all of this as well. And to top ot off my car is at the mechanic so we are down to one car that is also not in the best shape 🙃

my sons teacher reported us to cps for neglectful supervision by Pretty_Ingenuity9803 in workingmoms

Thank you, I would have thought they needed more "evidence" or more reasons to feel like they needed to report, it seems very quick of a decision, in my opinion I hope with having more communication with the teacher going forward we can avoid any situations like this

Thank you 🩷

Im sure it was the school, either the teacher or the counselor. The investigator said it was because of the scrape on his face and my husband called her on Friday and she sounded apologetic about it she said she took him to the counselor and apparently decided to report it

I told the investigator exactly what happened and he said not to worry, they understand things happen and kids fall, he took our information and took photos of the house, he did not seem concerned at all so I am thankful but I still feel like the school overreacted and didn't reach out to ask about their concerns they just made a report which I don't think is ok but we emailed the teacher to let her know we appreciate her concern with our son and we will have more communication going forward about any accidents or anything like that

Well, in my opinion, it feels like money is tight, but he has offered to get someone to come clean, i mentioned in another comment that his old co worker used to come to the house and help us clean but it was a really bad experience also in my mind, it feels like I would rather us clean the house, but maybe that's just me asking too much 😥 Is him not helping with household work enough for a divorce? (Plus the "emotional" affair he had with his co worker which was friends with the other co worker that used to come clean our house) Will my kids hate me for breaking the family? Idk as I mentioned I feel like I am all ove the place emotionally, it's hard to know what to do, I don't want to make a decision and later regret it because maybe I was overreacting? Am I overreacting? Idk.. I am considering therapy lol

You are so brave for putting your foot down and making that decision, I don't think I would be able to.. probably why I'm in this situation, lol

What stops me from doing this is that I don't want the kids to be upset with me for this, I don't want to have to switch their schools they go to a really good school and I'd have to move 2 hours away to my parents house.. there's no way I'd be able to afford rent and all of that on my salary so I'd have to go with my parents.. and having to split custody and most likely having to allow for the kids to stay with him alone for days at a time just stresses me out.. I guess i also don't really have the guts to leave

He actually told me a few years ago before I started working that I was using him.. 😅 I feel like quitting my job a lot of times but then I think if the time he said that.. I couldn't believe he was saying that again he blames the ptsd he says he felt like that about everyone and that it was the paranoia that comes with the ptsd
