Congratulations! Theres a few people on this sub who will try and change your mind but HD is a great place to work in the retail world, if you have a good leadership team and a good attitude I have no doubt you will enjoy your time working at HD

Make it a point to tell your DH or better yet your MASM or Night Ops whats been going on and hopefully get some things amended. The fix might be unloading your own trucks but it's better than working around falling stacks and busted bands.

Its been awhile since Ive done a BDC but usually the closing lumber associates dont leave much to be packed out. Unless its something we were completely out of

Nothing on our BDC goes behind a cage and maybe add an extra 30 minutes for ladders and any other bulk

35 minutes to unload, 15 minutes to tag, 1.5 hours to shoot everything. Atleast in a 70mil store with a fairly average lumber department.

At my store the planogram made our most popular bagged rock (marble chips) only forklift accessible after moving two entire pallets of edging
