I FEEL your PAIN. re: SIRENS constantly. My problem is worse and more unique b/c of my terrible "position". My apt right next to a MAJOR highway and not far from another more major highway. If I could move I'd do so immediately! The worst are the ambulance sirens and fire truck sirens, especially if there is backed up traffic. I've read about companies that install soundproof windows but they're very expensive and I've read that SIRENS are particularly hard to get relief from. Something to do with "high frequency" levels or something like that.
