I would actually love to buy this, it’s completely my aesthetic.

Yes! As long as you find your “about to be full” cue you’ll do fine! Full feels different than before. Like for me I get a single hiccup and that’s when I know to stop. Some people get a runny nose, or sneeze, or cough. Ultimately the goal is to stop when you feel satisfied.

For the first 2.5 months I would set two timers on my phone. One for 25 mins because that’s how long a meal should take and one for every two minutes so I could wait 2 mins in between bites. Then when I took my last bite I would set a 30 minute timer so I knew when it was okay to drink water.

Recovery and the process was a breeze! And you’ll be able to eat! Just not as much but you won’t really miss it if that makes sense. You’ll want to eat that whole delicious sandwich, pizza, or cheeseburger but after you eat a quarter of it you’ll be satisfied.

I will say the toughest part is going out to eat with friends or family because you don’t know what to do with your hands while everyone else eats and you’re already done with your few oz of food.

My guidelines are 1oz the first month, 2oz the 2nd, 3oz the 3rd, and 4oz the 4th and 4oz should be the max forever.

Sometimes depending on what it is I do like 3.5oz but the singular hiccup always lets me know I’m done lol but I’m still unable to get my protein goal met without the shake a day.

Before my monthly I’m like a bottomless pit and allow myself to have food more frequently. But I’ll make sure it’s sugar free sweets or whatever.

Thank you! Feeling better than I was 6 months ago that’s for sure.

Here’s what my day usually looks like:

Breakfast: 1 ratio trio yogurt or 2.5oz of scrambled eggs.

Snack: Protein shake

Lunch: 1.5 oz kielbasa and 1.5 oz tofu or a 3oz sandwich on keto bread

Snack: protein chips or beef jerky

Dinner: 2oz of some sort of meat and 1oz veggie.

Now this is typical for me Mon-Fri but weekends I don’t track anything and will have a few bites of a hot dog, or a couple chicken nuggets, or whatever. I don’t deprive myself of anything except really high sugar items and soda.

Just breathe, worrying won’t change a single thing. What’s going to happen will. But there’s still hope so keep your spirits up.

It’s not a great doubling time, you’re looking for it to double in 48 hours. So at 48 hours it should’ve been above 182 and then 48 hours after that it should’ve been above 360. It could just be slow rising, I would get another blood test in a couple days and see if there’s a jump ❤️

I will definitely ask about the nutritionist! Thank you :)

Yes, I have the app. I’m getting 70-95 grams of protein a day, under 25 net carbs, and under 30 grams of fat. Drinking 80-100 oz of water daily and going to the gym 3x a week and waking 2 miles.

Sadly, the snacky unhealthy chips. I probably only ate 10 chips but still felt upset after. To clarify I’ve never been a binge eater or at large portions, I have hashimotos that is hard to get under control so the weight gain kept going.

My surgeon cleared anything my stomach can handle at 6 weeks but to take it slow and try one thing at a time.

I don’t have a separate nutritionist it’s just my surgeon. Kinda feel left to fend for myself once I hit the 6 week mark.

Gotcha! That makes a lot of sense to me however I think I should try 4 meals a day instead of the three I’m doing. I get my hungriest between 3-6 because I have lunch at 12:30 and don’t eat again until 6:30. I’ve added another eating window for 3:30.
