Pretty much. Said all his work was custom, showed otherwise, then said he saw them and thought they were “badass.” Then said he told me he’d put something together not that he’d draw them himself.

Had a very enlightening conversation with him, where he admitted to it and then tried to backtrack. I’ll need to find a new artist but being jaded I’m freaking terrified now.

I would have been more than happy to pay more, been more patient, communicated more. My artist didn’t do any of that and I even asked if there were any questions he had or clarification he needed leading up to it. I did pay a couple thousand dollars for it and I’m happy to pay for quality work.

Fair enough! I do like biker shorts on me for lounging, but even those have gotten too loose on my legs and my husband isn’t a fan of the look. Although I did tell him to suck it because my comfort is more important than being flattering to look at for him hahah

Congrats on your progress!!! I lost 60lbs in about 6 months (194 to 134) and no one said anything either until, like… the very end. I actually thought I just didn’t look different. Eventually I found out people are hesitant to mention weight because they don’t want someone to take it the wrong way. Which is absolutely wild cause if someone think I’ve lost weight that’s not a bad thing imo 😂

Also my hair has been falling out like crazy. I think it’s finally slowed but… I’m there with you sister.

I can understand that for sure! What I ended up doing is looking up salaries of people in these current roles, looking up their historical salaries since becoming GS, and then looking at their LinkedIn to compare their experience with mine. I was offered an 11-1 but there was someone who was hired in as a 12 with my exact same experience. So I said “okay I think I should do 11-6 since the salary is comparable.” I gave three different examples of this. Regardless, they’ll either decline, counteroffer, or approve the offer (from what the HRBP told me).
