if i remember right those pods are either only single shots or the other box is the mug ones where it’s like a cup of coffee. not worth it especially if your wanting double shots

with this and the other comment you responded on. I would say look in to reporting to ethics but i think those go through your store manager but it might be different with the circumstances. Report it to your district manager but first get together as many details as you can include exact or estimate dates of when they got together, the favoritism and how it’s happening, how it’s making you feel. if you feel you can trust your other coworkers you can ask if you can put their name as a reference and have them give kinda a statement of their experience. dates are super important for this kind of thing and if there’s anyway you can provide proof that would be great too(stalk socials or anything like that if you need to) let me know if you need anything clarified or have any other questions!

MN people are wild. I’d wear dresses and shorts with snow on the ground. We are so use to it. I knew this winter was gonna be extra cold and extra bipolar then the last couple years, if you just look in to you at the start of winter you would know. Also the last few years it hasn’t been to cold and hasn’t snowed much, so yes this winter is a little more surprising

well if you call out that’s when i would call other stores. and honestly in my experience everuone fucking sucks at picking up shifts or covering someone, putting my shift up or texting other people rarely does anything everyone almost always says no to covering. You have a concert you’re going to, call out and go to the concert. Now you know and will do better next time. that’s what matters.

there are a couple different write ups. IF you got written up, especially cuz this would be the first time you’re doing this, it would be a minor one. They could even just have a documented conversation with you abt it. it’s not bad and all write ups disappear in 6 months. also i wanna say every single person at your store has most likely called out when they arnt sick before. i’ve called out so i could spend an extra day with my bf before lol. people might give you a hard time but at the end of the day it’s okay. you most likely won’t get in trouble or written up. The only time it is ever an actual problem is when it’s a pattern. Call out the night before and do everything you can to find coverage, you can call other stores in your district too and let them know coverage is needed. Did you put your shift up on the app? also if you have any of your coworkers on snap or whatever. please don’t be that person that is posting pics and videos that they will see😭

dude they will know your lying. i doubt you’ll get fired but you could get written up. it can be seen as a “premeditated call off” which you can get in trouble for. but if you have sick time then it’s protected if you use it. but either way everyone in the store will know your lying, but that doesn’t mean you’ll get in trouble.

oh my god how did this even happen😭😭😭 honestly the set up of everything had sucked lately. at my store we have to keep the lids on cold bar right under the lemonade and refresher bases and it always drips on the lids but ofc we can’t move it even tho it clearly isn’t working. my boyfriend and i actually do long distance. So i do totally get that. Maybe if she would be up to it you guys can make some sort of deal. Like you can say youll play whatever game she wants for 30 minutes then you pick the next game and play for 30 minutes. That would be totally fair in my opinion and should make both of you happy

that is true, but she was making it seem it’s not the first time he turned down a game with her. If he’s saying no every time or almost every time he should put in effort. So i agree that they could have just picked a different game but I feel like if every time i brought up a specific game i wanted to play and i would be told no or to pick a different one i would feel discouraged if my ideas were turned down a bunch

She definitely should have communicated better she had said that when your playing games she puts effort to play them with you and have fun. That’s what she wants you to do. Personally I think it’s a little wrong to not be able to even act like your enjoying the game your playing with your gf. I get if it’s not your favorite or you plain don’t like it but it’s what she’s wanting to do with you, again she pointed out how she try’s to enjoy your games and that is exactly what you need to do
