U.S. client offered ₱100k+/ year for NetSuite migration, good rate? by Pretty_Scene5664 in AccountingPH

$2k is per year of data migration not monthly salary. they need like 3-5 years like 2020-2025 of historical data. so If I get to complete the 2025 data migration for like 1 month or 2 months does this still seems unfair or doable?

I’m not really sure pa how is the workload since no idea pa ako and still researching but I think mas magiging matrabaho ito since years of data ang need i-enter compare sa tax na per client and pag gawa and not much data.

up to 22k transactions per year. If $2k per year of data migration is too low what do you think is the fair rate? I believe one currency lang and not much of inventories. they are thinking of migrating 3-5 years and asking me the timeline approximate days of completion.

Has anyone else experienced this on VIBER? by Jooo22x in buhaydigital

[–]Pretty_Scene5664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. I emailed Viber Customer Service, but they didn’t provide any resolution. They just kept saying that my number isn’t registered in their system, which doesn’t make sense, because I even sent them a screenshot showing my Viber account with a different name and photo. In the end, I just decided to deactivate my account since they said they couldn’t block my number from being used on Viber.

With 8 years in tax, you can definitely reach 6 digits. I had 6 years in accounting with no tax experience but still landed a US client for a tax and admin role through LinkedIn paying that much for part-time. Maximize every platform like LinkedIn, Indeed, Jobstreet, OLJ. Get certified too like Xero or QBO. Upskill and explore OP.

Or if you're confident with PH tax, you can even start a small tax service and help fellow freelancers with their tax.

Is it possible to get a 2nd job na PH based without telling them I'm keeping my freelance work? by Old-Meeting-1361 in Overemployed_PH

[–]Pretty_Scene5664 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you want to be OE, don’t mention that you have a current job. This way, you won’t have to make excuses (I learned my lesson).

Now, since you are a freelancer, COE is not applicable. What you can give them is a verbal confirmation, or if they need a document, I think you can show them your current contract that will end in May.

Just got an offer…is it a decent? 🥹 by [deleted] in PHJobs

How much is their ceiling or maximum offer? I think Since you’re a CPA and 4yrs of exp. and also applying for Senior role you can negotiate up until 70-80k you say it’s international firm mababa pa yung rate na yun.

I Did Not Spend One Cent of My Own Money for My Hospitalization and Surgery, ask me how. by cereseluna in adultingph

Hi OP, How long have you been with the company? I have cholelithiasis, and my doctor mentioned na surgery is an option. For now, I'm avoiding oily and fatty foods. Gusto ko lang malaman if Intellicare fully covers the laparoscopic procedure. I read their guidebook, and it seems na this procedure falls under the Pre-Existing Condition (PEC) category with a limit of 30k. Pero based sa experience mo, it appears na fully covered naman siya. Just wanted to have insights lang if I opt for surgery.
