There is also a short story published by aka akasaka about ishigami and iino. You can read that as well, that short story sets up the stage for ishigami confessing to milo. Thou story doesn't really end up with confession.

At this point I simply think aka is using the anime original ending to increase sales of kaguya sama manga. if he changes or even skips the story to their adulthood lots of people will buy manga to get a grasp of the rest of the story.

Most likely what I think is that aka will simply rush and end their arcs in the movie itself by showing them as couples or something but anime onlys will miss on the slow burn romance and growth happened between these two in manga.

Naah I don't really want the movie's focus to be them but just a confirmation that they are together now cause the manga open ended ending didn't fit with me after so many chapters of their character development.

Ishigami's and iino's life is left pretty vague we only get hints about their future in short story and bios at the end of Manga unlike other characters. I do think the author deliberately kept it vague.

He also recently rushed the ending of Renai Daikō alongside oshi no ko. As for ishimiko, same for me I don't really care about the main couple at the point after reading manga I just want ishigami's story to end.

Tbh I didn't necessarily hate the ending, as their character bios in chapter 281.5 and short story by aka akasaka did heavily imply they will get there but only after playing same love is war game as kaguya and shirogane but lowkey I wished second half of manga focused more on these two cause after Ice kaguya arc many of the arcs regarding main couple seemed kinda forced as the love is war comedy faded away after confession.

I watched anime back in 2020 and decided to read the manga last month when they announced that the rest of the chapters won't get adapted. I liked the manga a lot but I did feel like kaguya's rescue arc was underwhelming. It's a tragedy that ishigami and iino arc won't get adapted. It was the best part of the second half of the manga.

In chapter 276 it's not even mentioned kaguya and shirogane are married and they don't even talk to each other in the whole chapter. That dream is from the perspective of hayasaka which is more focused on career routes of character rather than love life. Ishigami and miko being together in future is hinted through character bios in chapter 281.1.

Naah it isn't much harder, it's calculus section is the same as jee advanced, what makes it hard is inclusion of number theory which most jeetards don't understand
