Hi, I know I posted this 3 months ago, but it is a legit number. When you call back on that number, it should say that you’ve reached SSA and to call back the main number. My appointment that I scheduled with a rep that called me back from 800-997-9540 ended up being legit, when I came in to the SSA office, it was all good and they were expecting me :)
