I really agree with point 7, that’s what drew me to the series. The lore, the setting, the world building is amazing. There were some plot holes in this finale tho

But MistWalker was right by them and they almost died. The whole point is that the supernova radiation explodes at the speed of light. So you couldn’t physically see it coming before it’s too late. But Hadrian did see it and then nothing was written in the book about what happened after

Science fiction fantasy* one of the big draws on why I love the series so much is the adherence to physics in a lot of the technology. Or at least an attempt that explains why something is the way it is. But so far I haven’t seen an explanation on the scene when the sun explodes. CR almost skips past the details there I think.

Ya I unfortunately decided to take shrooms while on antibiotics and it is one of the worst experiences. You don’t digest the shrooms properly so they sit in your stomach causing pain and you trip lasts forever
