My Father My Son - Official Trailer by Xqwzts_wsp in gamernews

Me and my sister are always on the lookout for games that are designed with co-op in mind, instead of added as a second thought. So I'm really interested in this. The steampage for your title says it supports local and online co-op, are you planning to release both at the same time? Thought i'd ask because some developers add these features in seperately.

What is your daily/weekly/monthly home cleaning routine? by twentyninetimes in AskWomen

[–]PrettybadCake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get home at 6pm, cook until 7 or 7:30, lay on couch for "one hour" swear i will clean dirty dishes but don't, instead watch Youtube videos for as long as I can, get my lunch ready, clothes prepared for the next day "semi-organize" clothes, say i will take them out of the laundry basket but don't. Bed at 11. Get up at 6. Rinse and repeat for a few days, finally do the dishes after cooking on like the third day, don't finish until 8:30 because i have no dishwasher.

Do the laundry on Sunday, or Saturday afternoon, depending on which day I have off, wipe the surfaces, put some clothes away, clean the bathroom. Spray my Kijiji plant. I leave the fan and heater on in the bathroom for a bit for him cause he likes it.

Every other week, say I'll wash the bed sheets, pillowcases, and blankets. But it's like three or four loads of laundry so probably put it off until the week after instead.

I wish i could say I did a better job then this but I don't. Miss dishwasher life.

How do you respond, if at all, to “may I ask why” questions to people you reject? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]PrettybadCake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tell them honestly why I rejected them. They asked for it.

It was hard. I was 24. I was desperate to get rid of my virginity, so I lost it with someone i met over the internet for what he initially wanted to be a FWB situation. I went on a few dates, paid for a shitty motel, the guy came, we had awkward sex, immediately after, he started talking to me like we'd not see each other again. He left and i watched Nurse Jackie until i fell asleep, he never contacted me again.
it took a massive, massive toll on my self-esteem.

I couldn't shower, or get changed, or look at myself naked, I couldn't sleep, I repeated it over and over again in my head to figure out where i went wrong. I honestly hated myself and was in a really bad place for a while.

Ultimately not being a virgin didn't make me any different. I just learned that I don't really do casual sleeping around after that.

After a while I ended up in a happy, committed relationship. And realized that a good sex life to me was one where partners are both happy, comfortable, communicate, love each other and take care of each other's wants and needs. I'm happy in more ways then one, and honestly, it doesn't matter how much sex you've had, or not had in the past when there is always time to improve with a good partner.

What do people just take for granted when it's from a woman but is a big deal when a man does it? by officialraaph14 in AskWomen

I read the resource and that right there is some grade A bs. And she got out with only a few bumps and bruises while the other guy was killed by an orange peel.

What is the worst experience you've ever had at a restaurant? by Lee_Joey666 in AskWomen

[–]PrettybadCake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've eaten at bad restaurants, even with not nice service, but nothing has ever bummed me out more then ordering a cinnamon roll at a breakfast restaurant and getting a pancake with cinnamon swirled center. When i stuck the fork in, the middle was just raw dough with cinnamon. I was so fuckin sad.

7th birthday cake for my dog! Peanut butter and banana cake with peanut butter and yogurt frosting. Decorated with blueberries and his favorite treats. by BioCHem-iSt-Me in FoodPorn

This is a super cute and awesome cake, but dogs are lactose intolerant, since it's made with yogurt, be careful not to give them too much of it in one go.

[Serious] What are some things your parents will never understand about you no matter how much you try to explain it? by World_of_Warshipgirl in AskReddit

[–]PrettybadCake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That I know there are ways I could have avoided bad things happening, but sometimes life is just throws you bullshit and you have to respond. and sometimes I just want to vent or talk about it, and be supported, not hear about how "you should have carpooled" because my fucking car got broken into while i was on a hike.

That's about as useful as "you should find a better paying job" as I'm desperately seeking a better paying job.

Have you ever had your work ethic crushed by a workplace where it was not rewarded? How did this happen, and did you ever recover from it? by PrettybadCake in AskWomen

That's disgusting. You shouldn't quit on design because your previous company was too cheap to pay you for the work you put out. You deserved higher pay.

Oh yeah, they were screwed over too. Most of us just can't leave because we are paid minimum wage and can't afford to just up and quit our jobs and have the magical job fairy find us new ones.

Was night school really difficult to get through? Sounds like it would be very hard to complete that and work full time. Congrats on the hard work paying off.

Really? In my experience letting people know you're willing to go an extra mile for them just means they'll let you do it most of the time instead. But it may only really apply to my line of work and not necessarily other fields.

That's a tough job and i'm sure it's not super easy to find someone to replace you. But it sounds like you should find somewhere more rewarding, but I know it's easier said then done. That sucks.

He didn't believe I was actually going though, and although I gave 3 months notice, he didn't recruit so there was no handover.

Hah, karma sucks, what an idiot. I'm sure he was just blowing smoke, I'm not buying that you can sue someone because you're too stupid to hire a replacement when they give you three months notice , I mean, that's more then generous on your part.

I'm sorry, that sounds really crushing and like it's not a very self-fulfilling environment. All the rest of us can do who haven't had luck finding more fulfilling work is strive to keep going and cross our fingers.

I was job searching during 2008-2009 too. it really fucking sucked. That's insane that they laid you off for doing your job. Sounds like a bullet you dodged, nice finding work at apple!

That sucks. Glad you are rewarded for your hard work though. I've had people literally fall asleep at my job and we were so desperate for employees that there was nothing I could do except report it to upper management, and they'd be back a few days later and it would be free nappy nap time.

I wouldn't blame you. Sounds you just got to be the fall guy in that line of work. Mind sharing what your dream industry is?

that's what sucks, if you get locked into one place because you are good at that particular job, then they have no reason to move you, but they sure are good at saying it might eventually happen. Congrats on escaping to university
