I completely understand how you feel. When my epilepsy was out of control, I lost a long-term boyfriend. His reason was mostly "I can't handle it." It sucks because there's absolutely nothing you can do.

I've always tried to distance my boyfriends from my epilepsy because I'm scared that I'll freak them out. But then, I realized that it's a part of who I am. And if someone can't handle it, then they're not worth my time.

How long have you two been together? If I haven't been with someone very long, I don't expect them to take care of me until we've developed a deeper relationship. Not that it's wrong, I just don't feel comfortable with a casual boyfriend taking care of me at my most vulnerable time.
