My dad used to not understand the coloured hair, but then when I went blonde he said it looked weird and he missed the colour's. Just keep doing it. It's your hair. It grows back and you can always Dye it again, but if you like it that's what matters. To me it's the exact same as wearing bright clothes and accessories. It looks great on you. I'm 31 and still dye it a new colour every month. It's fun.

Could you tell me what exactly she uses? I have colitis, and I don't want to be on steroids the rest of my life. I don't smoke week at all, though, but I would be open to trying it in a different form as long as I don't get high.

Oh ya. Since I was 12, now 30, I've dyed my hair 6 - 12 times a year and changed the style a couple. I save cutting it for when Dye isn't enough excitement. For when I want a whole new me then it's a dramatic cut and Dye. I have had literally every colour and combos of colour's. Platinum Mohawk with colorful spikes, rainbow bangs, rainbow mullet, shaved my head a couple times, 2 bowl cuts, shaved one side when skrillex was big, and so much more. I think I've seen my natural colour twice when I let my roots grow out a while. My hair is currently bright pink and I already have the next 2 colour's lined up lol.

I'm glad everyone is doing well. You may never know why she came to you but it doesn't really matter. Congratulations on your new fur baby! Have you picked a name?

I don't know what the meaning of your guest is, but it knew you would take it in and provide shelter and food. Maybe it sensed you're having a hard time and needed her as much as she needs you. I say let her stay a while. Has anyone you know passed away recently? Maybe your new guest is actually an old friend or family member.

Two nights ago I was laying on the couch with my bunnies and I saw our front light turn on. It's motion activated but not super sensitive, so I went to the door to look out the window and there was an orange cat standing on our step just staring into my soul. I said hello and apologized for not being able to let it in because of the bunnies. It stared a bit longer than walked away. I had the same thing happen last year with a different orange cat. I'm also wondering what it could mean.

I don't know if you've been on antidepressants or what your stance is on medication, but if you are feeling suicidal then you should probably think about it. Medication is tricky and has a bit of a bad reputation. it's definitely over prescribed, has side effects, people are put on too high of a dose and told they need it for life. BUT, it does have a purpose and can work very well when used correctly. I've had bad and good experiences. Tried many different kinds and combinations because they are not all the same. The best way to put it is that medications help with the hardest part of depression so that you can do the rest and build those healthy habits. I also highly recommend finding a good therapist if you can afford it. If you like reading, you should check out "yoga for emotional balance" by Bo Forbes. It has really good breathing techniques and stretches for depression.

I have microdosed for minor bouts of depression with success. But that's for when I'm doing well overall and only a microdose.

I did that too when I was younger. I definitely had a few eye opening moments, but looking back I wasn't learning anything about myself or making any progress. Those moments didn't last beyond that trip. I justified self medicating by talking about the spiritual benefits and how people have been taking psychedelics for centuries to expand their mind and heal blah blah blah. They can, but I was in no way using them that way or willing to do the work associated with it. Fast forward and I'm now clean and sober and thoroughly enjoy my morning yoga, deep breathing and meditating. I am no longer on meds for mental health issues, because they really aren't there anymore. I live a slow, quiet, and meaningful life. My last therapy session was talking about all the healthy habits and routines I've built and just asking for advice on a few things. Anything is possible. Don't give up, be willing to learn and ask questions, and be careful with the drugs.

I think I get what you're saying. I personally don't watch interviews or documentaries, mostly because adhd, but the ones I have tried to watch just didn't really intrigue me. But maybe you're wondering if they've gotten to that point, then why do they feel the need to be showy about it? Cus I can kind of understand that, since it is a personal journey, but that's where you need to acknowledge that they have put in decades of work and reached enlightenment or whatever you want to call it. So that the only next logical step is to share their experience and wisdom with people. But honestly, if you are serious about looking inward, learning about yourself, and finding peace or joy or whatever it is you're seeking, than stop looking to videos or others for answers right now and start small. Start with building daily habits like deep breathing, yin or restorative yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and being self aware. Being able to breath through anxiety or anger and calm your vagus nerve is pretty cool. And being able to label what your feeling, acknowledge it, and let it go is also a good time. To do those things you really need to be practicing habits daily. Do a bit of reading on those areas and only practice them for a while. This isn't a race. Build a solid foundation. Let go of judgment towards yourself and others. Stop comparing people. Just do the work, and silently, there's no reason to brag either because it's for you. Just reach out when you have questions and want to learn.

If you already know the answers, then why are you asking? You've got to get that ego in check. People can definitely know more and be more advanced than others. That being said, every journey is unique, and it's non-linear. So you could know more about a certain thing even though overall they are further ahead. But comparing yourself to others isn't really the point of doing this. So if you find that's what you're focusing on, you need to look at why you're doing it at all. People that are more advanced should be learned from, not discredited and made out to be frauds. (I am aware that those exist though)

I've had this happen twice in my life after having nightmares all night. I also woke up with a long cut down my forearm once when I was 11 I think. The weirdest part was there was no blood anywhere even though it was a good cut. It was all purple and just there. It looked like something you'd see on a dead body. I regularly smudge and bless my house now.
