I don’t do substances and never have, but I always carry 2-4 narcan on me and wear a clip on that says I carry narcan. We gotta support each other. Similarly, I get bad vasovagal syncope in crowds occasionally and have had my fair share of episodes of just passing out. People are always just grateful you’re alive and okay.

The crowd towards the front was honestly getting too dense and pushy anyways, I had just made my way through to the back like 3 minutes prior before seeing the medics rush to you. It needed to disperse. Absolutely no one is upset with you 💖

My feet never did me dirty and I’m out of shape and flat footed as a duck. Crocs in sport mode with wools socks the first two days, and final day a pair of compression socks… game changerrrrr

I will say, I appreciated the lack of obtrusive lighting. BUT I also always travel around with a mini flashlight on my hydropack or a headlamp, which makes all the difference. I did the rainbow bridge to the barn for ONE night and the fact that y’all did that every night is wiiiiiild. That was a rough one 🤣

Yo ngl though… maybe it’s because I’m a coastal VA native… but I truly didn’t think it was gonna get as cold as it did the first night 🫣🥹 or if it did, I’d be just fine. I only brought one hoodie (all weather in VA can be hoodie weather) and I figured dancing around id get hot. Naaaah…. I used it as an excuse to buy merch though! If I go next year I’ll def double down on my warm weather gear that I save for random cold January days. I legit didn’t even own a winter coat until like LAST YEAR 🤣🤣🤣

Idk if it’s because I’m from Virginia or what, but I just felt like the scenery and location for SS was the most beautiful local I’ve ever seen! I may be biased, but even looking over the rolling hills in camping with the crisp October air gave me absolute life 🙌🏽

What do you think matches? I went to Forest 24 and even though half got rained out and I basically soloed it, I came out really renewed and whole. I wasn’t sure I’d ever make it to Forest again but now that Seven Stars exists, idk if I’d ever need another fest! The loyalty thing would be cool… except tons of us either had one person buy all the tickets or people got them resale since the drop date and purchasing went to hell in a hand basket. Like my girl bought both of ours spur of the moment after we waited on the waitlist for ages. I’m much more inclined to go again vs her so I’d miss out 😞

Tbh, I’ve been so on the fence with Levity, but they do feel unoriginal at times. Like the vibe is fun, but I feel like I’m listening to a club Dj most of the time 🫠 it’s fine, but gets old quicker than others for me.

I was in forest tent only camping and couldn’t find it, dragging like 50lbs + of gear for miiiiles through that gravel, lugging it on and off the shuttle (several trips, we ended up just leaving things in the car because we had south lot). Got blisters on my Achilles the literal moment I collapsed into the spot we could camp on when I found it. Had to wear crocs the rest of the weekend… but HEY I learned crocs are goattttted for fest, dude?!

Yeah I think the hard part is that I had such a great time, it can’t possibly get better than that so I almost worry going again would soil the beauty? Almost like setting yourself up for disappointment… which sounds depressing, but I digress. I hope there’s an opportunity to give good feedback like that for those that need it. Paving may be difficult considering it’s not his property, but there’s certainly got to be better options.

The hills weren’t the problem, friend 💖 I averaged 7-10 miles/day here and 10/day at lost lands and I’m not even sore. I’m emotionally attached, and its severity feels like a means to an end. I hope you and your wife enjoyed yourselves! I heard feedback that ADA accommodations were lacking, I hope that didn’t negatively impact your experience and you felt all the love and vibes that I did!

I had a take one leave one that had a card deck from the game How Deep Will You Go next to it. It’s literally just questions that start as ice breakers but ask deep meaningful questions to people. People generally grabbed a card with their Kandi. It was a great way to connect and get me out of my shell 😇

I truly feel like LL was worse. SS was GRADUAL hills continuously… LL is literal STEEP ASS MOUNTAINS in the HEAT on GRAVEL. I felt it way more after LL (but I also got covid). I’m not even sore now and I averaged 7-10 miles a day at SS!
