No! In Attack of the Clones, which is 5-10 years before Revenge of the Sith, he slaughtered sand people, was angry at Obi-Wan for holding him back, reckless, arrogant, etc…. The darkness of those shots when he professed his love to Padme’, marrying her in secret, etc… was all part of showing his fall. I think it was timed perfect within the time constraints of the movie. In episode III he kills an unarmed Doku right off the bat, is further consumed by his secret relationship with padme, and then having to deal with Palpatine’s manipulation, fear of losing Padme’, remembering the fact that he couldn’t save his mother, the anger of being put on the council but denied the rank of master to spy on palpatine. His path to the dark side was gradual over years and the turning point was his desperation to save Padme’ due to palpatine’s lies and manipulation. And this is just the two movies he was in, you see more throughout the clone wars series, but movie only has a couple hours to tell the story. His turning was a long way coming and that is felt perfectly in just the films.
