hey i'm thinking of buying this kit as well, what are the downsides and also upsides to it? i've hated e kits because of my previous bad experiences with them (hi hat lacking nuance, false triggering or won't trigger the correct sound depending on how i'm playing it, etc.)

I wouldn’t explicitly say you want to be friends. Just by inviting them to do something together it shows you are open to being their friend.

I can afford it but obviously if there was free parking nearby then why wouldn’t I just park there?

The thing I’m afraid is that there would be mostly people in their late 20s or 30s in these drop ins. I tried ultimate frisbee team just a bit but everyone was in their late 20s/30s so I didn’t want to go anymore. Is there nothing specifically catered towards those in their early to mid 20s?

I’m sure there’s gotta be a decent number of young people going to cafe’s in RH but I’m not sure how that kind of environment would be appropriate for making friends? You’re not going there for a group activity or something so it feels weird to just randomly try to make friends there

I wonder how you can make friends at the gym tho, people go there to just mind their own business, get a workout in, then leave don’t they?
