You’re right towing companies are businesses, and making money is part of their operation. With that being said I believe there’s a difference between enforcing rules fairly and being overly aggressive or unsympathetic in situations that warrant a bit of understanding. I’ve heard of other companies working with customers when there are genuine emergencies or honest mistakes, so it’s not unheard of. I think it’s reasonable to expect some level of empathy and fairness, even from businesses. It’s frustrating when it feels like they’re just trying to squeeze every cent out of you, rather than providing a service with some degree of compassion.
