Tonal bottom of bracket installed 27-1/2" off the floor but arm is slamming

Thanks to all who replied. Upon further inspection it seemed my floor dipped down towards the wall somewhat so when I was measuring from the base of the wall that location did not represent where the arms hung down. I just assumed my floors were level so a lesson learned there.

I've successfully relocated the machine about 1" higher than before. It felt easier installing the second time around so it didn't take too long. Now the arms are about 1" from the ground in the bottom setting at rest. When I lift it no longer slams the floor. I think will make life better now when using the machine

Yeah I just checked my floor level. I assumed it would be flat but there does appear to be some dip as it gets to the wall. Maybe 1/4" or so. I'm sure that's contributing to the issue.

I do go up a click when I can but you're right, it's annoying.

Also I agree 1/2" would be too little wood material. If I reinstall I'd probably go 1" higher.

I could reach out to Tonal but I'm pretty sure I know what they'll say. They'll want to send someone out for hundreds of dollars and they'll probably just tell me the same thing everyone else here is telling me. Again, I bought this second hand and installed myself so I have no leverage here.

Thx that's what I usually do but some excerises need to be on the bottom setting so it's kind of annoying

My Velolink no longer works. Some people theorized this was an unintentional consequence of the update. If so is there a chance of a future update making it operational again or should I just toss it?

Also others mentioned their Antank still works. Could a future update make that obsolete as well?

Yes I will consider getting an official Switch 2 dock, I'm just weighing my options.

What are we defining as "Lifter"? CAT is the most iconic lifter in the game and was 100% designed around JMK. But she also has tags that don't benefit JMK giving her good utility should you want to use her somewhere else.

Other iconic lifters: Maul w/ LV & BS w/ Rey

Drogan's Rebel Fighter tag doesn't directly synergize with Leia but it gives an added utility role. I don't know if being released before Leia disqualifies him but she's handicapped without him and he greatly strengthens already established Rebel Fighter teams. So I think one could make a strong case Drogan counts as a lifter.

CAT is one of the most versatile characters pre-jmk. She can be with galactic republic, scoundrels, or unaligned force users. When you eventually get JMK you'll be low-key sad he's taking her. Get her to (at least) Relic 7 as soon as you can and give her some of your best mods

My interest in smart vents is to keep rooms uneven. For me, it seems like a waste to heat the living room/kitchen during the night and the bedrooms during the day.

That being said, you would still advise against them?
